Refinishing is different than renovation.  Renovation restores something.  Refinishing changes its appearance.  Did you find the perfect piece but it doesn’t match the decor?  New carpet clash with the old painted furniture.  Just wanting to change the look of a room?  That’s where refinishing comes in.  

     For example, when my grandson Noah was born, there was created a need for a dresser to put into his nursery.   I had an old, beat up work cabinet that had my vice bolted to the top of it and took up more space in my workshop than was necessary for its function.
